Virgie Lee Turner Alan
Virgie Lee Turner Alan, 83, died September 29, 2006 in Diamond, MO, where she had been a home health provider for the past six years.
She was born May 13, 1923, to Josh Jackson and Marie (Call) Turner.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Alvis Turner and three sisters, Lilly Wade, Audrey Thomas, and Jean Haarrell.
She is survived by five children, Larry and Elaine Dowdy of Winslow, AR, Peggy and Dale Powers of Englewood, CO, Tenna and Doug Auch of Neosho, MO, Kim and Mary Ellerman of Yuma, AZ and David Ellerman of Myrtle Beach, NC.
Burial in Oakwood Cemetery, Neosho, MO.
Damon Robert Allen
Damon Robert Allen, 37, of Campbell, MO, died Wednesday, October 16, 2002, in Campbell.
He was born September 18, 1965, the son of Larry and Karen Dunlap Allen.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Karen Allen, in 1980.
He is survived by his father, Larry Allen of Troy, MO; one sister, Christine Rogers and husband, Marlin, of Winfield, MO; paternal grandmother, Leoma Allen of Piggott and Troy; two nephews, Blake and Jake; fiance Becky Cox and daughter, Jessica Garner of Campbell; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Burial in New Hope Cemetery, near Pollard, AR.
Frederick "Fred" W. Allen
Frederick "Fred" W. Allen, 67, died Monday, March 28, 2005, at his home in St. Peters, MO.
He was born January 7, 1938, in Pollard, AR, the son of Rosa Leoma (Conley) Allen and the late Denver R. Allen.
He was married to Margaret "Margie" Wiggi in 1956 and to this union four children were born.
Survivors include his wife, Margie Allen of St. Peters; a daughter, Susie Pieper, her husband Darrell of Troy, MO; a son, Freddie Allen, Jr., of Bell Flower, MO; a daughter, Donna Allen of Winfield, MO; and a son Jimmie Allen, of St. Peters, MO; his mother, Mrs. Denver (Leoma) Allen of Piggott and Troy, MO; a brother, Larry Allen of Troy, MO; a sister, Ramona Allen Magee of Piggott; and grandchildren, Dusty Pieper, Jerry Allen, Jason Allen, Nathan Allen and Tiffany Allen.
Burial in St. Charles Memorial Gardens in Troy.
Loleda McDaniel Allen
Loleda McDaniel Allen, 88, of Gideon, MO, died on Monday, January 30, 2006, at the Gideon Care Center.
She was born on December 2, 1917, in Wardell, MO, the daughter of the late Grover and Leah Haywood McDaniel.
Mrs. Allen was formerly a cook at the Gideon Schools.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by one brother, Durrell McDaniel; and one sister, Valerie Cain.
She is survived by two daughters, Patty Breeden and husband, Jim, of Holcomb, MO, and JoAnn Reesha of Kennett, MO; a son, Terry Allen and wife, Nell, of Piggott; one brother, Doyle McDaniel of Wood River, IL; one grandson, Dr. Scott Allen of Jonesboro, AR; two granddaughters, Krysty Holt of Kennett, and Terica Allen of Piggott; one step-grandson, Larry Cloninger of Little Rock, AR; one step-granddaughter, Jean Cloninger of Piggott; and three great grandchildren.
Burial in Mt. Gilead Cemetery in Gideon.
