Ewell Edgar Baker

Ewell Edgar Baker, 83, of Piggott, AR, died Sunday, June 4, 2006, in the Piggott Community Hospital.

He was born on October 16, 1922, in Lawrence County, the son of the late Oscar and Alberta Herring Baker.

He was united in marriage to Lois Rowland on June 17, 1940.  They had four sons.

He was a longtime member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Piggott.

He is survived by his wife, Lois; four sons, Fred Baker and wife Mary, of Poplar Bluff, MO, Bob Baker and wife, Kay of Waldorf, MD, Ronnie Baker and wife Shirley of PIggott, and Randy Baker and wife, Debbie, of Cabot, AR; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and many other relatives and friends.

Burial in Piggott Cemetery in Piggott, AR.

Jonothan Christoper Ray Baker

 Jonothan Christoper Ray Baker, 25, of Pollard, AR, died Friday, June 15, 2006.

He was born September 25, 1980, in Poplar Bluff, MO, the son of Melvin Leon Baker and Pamela Kay Vinson Baker of Pollard.

He attended the United Voice of Zion Church in Malden, MO.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Angela Vinson; and his paternal grandparents, Melvin and Florendia Baker.

Survivors include three sons, Jeremiah Baker, Joseph Baker and Nikolas Baker, all of Piggott; his parent, Melvin Leon and Pam Baker of Pollard; a brother Stephen Gray, Jr of Pollard; his ex-wife who he loved, Rachel Householder of Piggott; maternal grandparents, Donald Vinson of Caddo Gap and Rose Vinson of Poplar Bluff; two aunts, Tina Payne of Poplar Bluff, and Debra Vinson of Malden; and one uncle, Duane Vinson of Poplar Bluff.

Burial in Cummins Chapel Cemetery, near Pollard, AR.

Theresa M. "Terri" Baker

Theresa M. "Terri" Baker, 52, of St. Quincy, IL, died Saturday, December 14, 2002, at Blessing Hospital in Quincy.

She was born July 5, 1950, in Racine, WI, the daughter of Donald and the late Sally Spencer Baker.

She was a minister at Bethel Assembly of God and a graduate of St. Joseph High School in Kenosha, WI.  She also attended Gateway Technical College for Nursing in Kenosha.

Survivors include her father, Donald Baker of Kenosha; six brothers, Jack Baker of Kenosha, Mike Baker and wife, Joan, of Cleveland, TN, Jim Baker and wife, Rita, of Kenosha, Brian Baker and wife, Shawn of Kent, WA, Ray Baker and wife, Jodie of Racine, and Joe Baker of Fort Collins, CO; two sisters, Pat Self and husband, Danny, of Piggott, and Jane Grudzinski and husband, John, of Kenosha; and numerous nieces and nephews.
