Colette Diahann Hill Beck

Colette Diahann Hill Beck, 40, of Rector, died Wednesday, April 25, 2007, at her residence.

Born December 19, 1966 in Kennett to Charlotte (Brewer) Smith and the late Marcus Eddie Hill, she was a waitress, a life long member of the community, and of the Methodist Faith.

Survivors include one son, River Rice of Rector; one daughter, Raven Rice of Rector; mother, Charlotte Smith of Rector; step-mother, Sue Hill of Piggott; three sisters, Kim Nordmeyer of Rector, Brandy Smart of Piggott, and Summer Wolfenbarger of Rector; a brother Jake Smith of Rector; four nieces, Briana Nordmeyer, Jennifer Nordmeyer, and Madison Wolfenbarger, all of Rector, and Taylor Smart of Piggott; one nephew, Tanner Smart of Piggott; one great-niece, Aliya Shultz of Rector.

Burial in Woodland Heights Cemetery, Rector, AR.

Eddie R. Beck

Eddie R. Beck, 69, of Rockford, IL, died Tuesday, October 5, 2004, at home in the loving care of his fam­ily.
 
He was born June 26,1935, in Peach Orchard, AR, the son of Alvin and Ruby Stormes Beck.  He married Ovedia I. Starling on March 30, 1957, in Hernando, MS; she died in 2000.
 
Beck was the owner and opera­tor of Beck's Janitorial Service and Beck's Auto Sales. He was a member of the Church of Christ. He was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed fishing.
 
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Ruby Stormes Beck; two brothers, Charles and Rolland; and one sis­ter, Lillian.
 
Survivors include one son, Eddie L. (Karin) Beck of Winnebago, IL;a daughter, Stephanie L. (Robert) Adair of Rockford, III.; three grandchil­dren, Randy Boatright, Tyler Beck and Jessica Beck, all of Winnebago; a brother, Ronald (Donna) Beck of Rockford; four sisters, Shirley (Joby) Condray, Mary Summers, Connie (Greg) Hobelmann and Ruth (Glenn) Evans; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friend, Hassell Hutchison.
 
Entombment in Sunset Memorial Gar­dens.

Violet Beatrice Morris Beck

Violet Beatrice Beck, 85, of Rec­tor, died Tuesday, March 8, 2005.
 
She was born March 5, 1920, in Cardwell, MO, the daughter of the late Neail and Ada Bell Horner Morris.
 
She was united in marriage to Carl Franklin Beck Sr. on March 5, 1936. They had eight daugh­ters and three sons.
 
She lived in Nimmons, AR,  from 1939 until the time of her death. She was a member of Victory Fellow­ship Church in Piggott.
 
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl F. Beck Sr; one daughter, Duanita Mauldin; and one son, Wesley Franklin Beck.
 
She is survived by two sons, Carl Beck Jr. of Rector and Charles Beck of Nimmons; seven daughters, Bonnie Raney of Beebe, AR, Brenda Hendley of Nimmons, Diane Thomas of To­peka, KS, Charlene Schleuder of Denver, CO, Anna Kay Williamson of Wappapello, MO, Paula Hillis of Wappapello, MO, and Carlotta Morrison of Paragould; 32 grandchildren; 56 great-grandchildren; two great-­great-grandchildren; two broth­ers, James C. Morris of Spencer, IN, and Jessie R. Morris of Valrico, FL; and many other rela­tives and friends.
 
Burial in the Nimmons Cemetery, Nimmons, AR.

Wesley Franklin Beck

Wesley Franklin Beck, 54, of Rector, AR, died Sunday, July 4, 2004, in the Baxter County Regional Hospital in Mountain Home, AR.
 
He was born November 20, 1949, in Piggott, the son of the late Carl F. Beck Sr. and Beatrice Morris Beck.
 
He was united in marriage to Janice Kay Arant on Nov. 4,1972, they had three children.
 
He was preceded in death by his father, Carl F. Beck Sr.; and one sister, Daunita Mauldin.
 
He is survived by his wife, Janice Kay Beck of Rector; three children, Jason Brandon Beck of Nimmons, Chad Wesley Beck and wife, Ashley, of Piggott and Angela Dawn Pastiva and husband, David, of Walnut Ridge; one son, Rodney Heath Beck of St. Louis; two grandchildren, Jacob Bran­don Beck and Ashtyn Brooke Beck; his mother, Beatrice Morris Beck of Nimmons, AR; two brothers, Carl Beck of Rector and Charles Beck of Nimmons; seven sisters, Anna Kay Williamson of Wappapello, MO, Bonnie Raney of Beebe, Brenda Hendley of Nimmons, Charlene Schleuder of Denver, CO, Diane Thomas of Topeka, KS, Paula Hillis of Wappapello and Carlotta Morrison of Paragould; and many nieces, nephews and other rela­tives and friends.
 
Burial in the Nimmons Cemetery in Nimmons.
