Eva Dean Beamer
Eva Dean Beamer, 73, of McDougal, AR, died November 23, 2002, at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould, AR.
She was born November 19, 1929, in Boydsville, AR, the daughter of the late Daniel Edward and Pearl Birchett Phillips.
Two brothers, Edward and Norman Phillips, preceded her in death.
She is survived by two daughters, Betty Chapman and husband, Allen, of Kerrville, TX,
and Bobbie Harris and husband, Mark, of Austin, TX; five grandchildren, Steven Gaultney, Denise Gaultney, Brandi McDaniel, Shiree Reeder and Christina Purcell; six great-grandchildren, Vanessa, Michaela, Connor, Kylie, Corbon and Clayton; two brothers, Buel Phillips of McDougal and Bill Phillips of Gateway, AR; a special friend, Loretta O'Guin of McDougal; and many other relatives and friends.
Burial was in Post Oak Cemetery in McDougal, AR.

Robert L. Beamer
Robert L. Beamer, 68, of Gibson, MO, died Friday, November 17,2000, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett, MO.
He was born February 4, 1932, in Lendin, MI, the son of George and Velva Keller Beamer Culver.
He was preceded in death by his father, one sister and one brother.
He is survived by his mother, Velva Culver of Milan, MI; two daughters, Bobbie Harris of Austin, TX, Betty Chapman of Kerrville, TX, and their mother,
Eva Dean Beamer of McDougal; five grandchildren, Steven Gaultney, Denise Gaultney, Brandi Chapman, Shiree Chapman and Christina Chapman; three great-grandchildren, Vanessa, Michaela and Connor; one sister, Patricia Seng of Milan, MI; a special companion, Alice Seal of Gibson; and many other relatives and friends.
The body was cremated.

Meredith L. Becker
Meredith L. Becker, 81, of Indiantown, FL, died Saturday, September 9, 2000, at his home.
A native of Piggott, he lived in Indiantown for 11 years, moving there from Miami.
He served in the Army during World War II.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Lucy Becker; two sons, Roy Becker and wife, Charlee, of Medina, OH, and Rob Becker and wife, Joan, of Plantation, FL, a daughter, Peggy Carswell, and husband, Robert, of Denver, CO; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

James David Bedwell
James David Bedwell, 74, of Jonesboro, AR, died on Thursday, September 30, 2004, at his residence.
He was born in Fagus, MO, on March 18, 1930, the son of the late Andrew Harrison and Sara Elizabeth Bedwell.
He married Virginia Marie Kitchen. They were married for 56 years and had eight children.
Mr. Bedwell worked as a building contractor.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Dan Franklin Bedwell, Hosea Orville Bedwell and Louis Edward Bedwell; and two sisters, Goldie Marie Clemons and Edith Irine Bedwell.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia Marie Kitchen Bedwell; eight children, Janie Marie Jones of Malden, MO, Judy Ann Broughton of North Little Rock, AR, Jeanette Allen Alstadt of Jonesboro, James Ledell Bedwell and Janice Kaye Bedwell Gott, both of Sherwood, AR, Johnny Dwight Bedwell of Piggott and Jerry Dewon Bedwell and Joel David Bedwell, both of Jonesboro; 15 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Andrew Jackson Bedwell and Julius Grant Bedwell of CA, and Cletius Eugene Bedwell of MO; and one sister, Ruby Katherine Javornik of CO.
Burial in the Piggott Cemetery, Piggott, AR.

Dave Beecher
Dave Beecher, 74, of Corning, AR, died Monday, November 5, 2001 at his home.
He was born September 8, 1927, in Neelyville, MO, the son of the late Henry and Cecil Hogan Beecher.
He married Anita Byars on May 3, 1954. To this union two children were born.
He was preceded in death by an infant sister and three half-brothers.
He is survived by his wife, Anita; two children, Jonathan Beecher of Corning and Patty Jo Goins of Broseley, MO; two grandchildren, Cydni anti Jared Conner of Broseley; three brothers, John Wesley Beecher of Pollard, James Beecher of Paragould and Boyd Beecher of Corning; one half-brother, Charles Malding of Peach Orchard; three half-sisters, Delores Guynes of DeSoto, MO, Mary Jane Carpenter of FL, and Martha Warbritton of Corning; and other relatives and friends.
Burial in Post Oak Cemetery near McDougal, AR.

John "Jake" Wesley Beecher
John "Jake" Wesley Beecher, 73, of McDougal, AR, died on Sunday, Dec. 4, 2005, at his residence.
He was born April 16, 1932, in Fisher, the son, of Henry Ward Beecher and Cecil Hogan Beecher Malding.
He was united in marriage to Arveda Melton on October 29,1955. They had four children.
Mr. Beecher was a farmer.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Marty Alan Beecher and Tony Dale Beecher; and two brothers, David Woodrow Beecher and James Sanford Beecher.
Survivors include his wife, Arveda Beecher of McDougal; one daughter, Lana Jean Nelson of Coming; one son, Farris A. Beecher and wife, Tarnie, of Coon Island, MO; three grandchildren, Sonya Elizabeth Thompson, Steven Wayne Beecher and Ashley Daniele Nelson; one brother, Bob Beecher of Corning; one half-brother, Charles Malding of Peach Orchard; three half-sisters, Lois Guynes of DeSoto, MO, Mary Jane Carpenter of Lake Alfred, FL, and Martha Warbritton of Neelyville, MO.

Loyd Joe Bellers
Loyd Joe Bellers, 74, died Thursday, July 25, 2002, at his home in Piggott.
He was born on a farm at Carryville, AR, on April 12, 1928, the son of the late Dewey and Blanche Simpson Bellers.
He was a member and Trustee of First General Baptist Church of Piggott; a member of the Masonic Lodge #545; a Veteran of U.S. Navy and served two years aboard the USS Norris; and a farmer around the Carryville area for forty years.
He was preceded in death by one son, Loyd Kent Bellers; one daughter, Karen Denise Bellers; one brother, Junior Bellers; and one brother-in-law, Troy Howell.
He is survived by his wife, Dolores Moore Bellers, whom he wed on December 25, 1948; his children, Kathy Jo and Skip Fauber, of Maumelle, AR, and Kim and Rodney Rouse of Piggott; three grandchildren, Chanda Hinrichs of Fayetteville, AR, and Joe Marshall and Kalem Rouse of Piggott; one great-grandson, Parker Hinrichs of Fayetteville; four sisters, Girtha Sanders and husband, Melvin, of Moore, OK, Jeanette Baily and husband, Ledell, of Searcy, AR, Betty Howell of Piggott, and Mary Faye Snead and husband, Charlie, of Bartlett, TN; one brother, Francis Bellers and wife, Martha, of Cedar Hill, MO; and a host of other relatives and many, many friends.
Burial in the Piggott Cemetery, Piggott, AR.

Evelyn Schooley Belote
Evelyn Schooley Belote, 77, a long-time resident of Piggott died Saturday, October 1, 2005, in Poplar Bluff, MO, after a long illness.
She was born April 24, 1928, in Flint, MI, the daughter of the late Murt and Annabell Dennis Schooley.
She graduated from Kersley High School. She married Floyd Belote on March 18, 1947. They had six children.
Mrs. Belote was employed at Pontiac General Hospital as laboratory office supervisor until 1969, when the family moved back to the Piggott area. She was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed quilting and gardening, but most of all she enjoyed being a wife and mother and spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Janice Finch in September of 1996; and six brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her husband, Floyd of Piggott; three sons, Randy Belote and wife, Pam, of Piggott, Tom Belote of Wichita, KS, and James Belote of Piggott; two daughters, Jean Hartshorn of Ellsinore, MO, and Cyndi Nicolini and husband, Nick, of Poplar Bluff; 16 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends

Kathleen G. Belton
Kathleen G. Belton, 88, died September 4, 2003, at Baptist Hospital in Memphis, TN.
She was the wife of Paul Belton for 67 years.
She leaves behind two daughters, Gloria Elders of Collierville, TN and Glenda Henley of Memphis, TN; two sons, Paul D. Belton of Memphis and Glen Belton of Tampa, FL; and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was the sister-in-law of Louise Jackson of Piggott.

Paul "Shorty" Belton
Paul "Shorty" Belton, 92, of Memphis, TN, died Friday, November 7, 2003 at Baptist Hospital East.
He leaves behind two daughters, Gloria Elders of Collierville, TN and Glenda Henley of Memphis, TN; two sons, Paul D. Belton of Memphis and Glen Belton of Tampa, FL; a sister, Louise Jackson, of Piggott; a brother, James O. Belton of Arcadia, FL; and his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Arthur Dreadman Bennett
Arthur Dreadman Bennett, 81, of Corning, AR, died on Monday, February 20, 2006, at his home.
He was born on October 30, 1924, in McDougal, the son of the late William Arthur and Della Dorothea (Dobbins) Bennett.
Mr. Bennett was a retired machinist. He retired from Industrial Techtonics Inc. after 31 years of service. He was a veteran, having served in the U.S. Army. He was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a two sisters, Thela Kaiser and Wilma Roach; and a brother, Brice Bennett.
Survivors include his wife, Myra Elizatene (Gribble) Bennett of the home in Corning; two daughters, Judy Balyeat and husband, Rodney, of Tecumseh, MI, and Kathy Field and husband, Mark, of Ann Arbor, MI; one brother, James Bennett of Ypsilanti, MI; two sisters, Lucille Downey of Lawrenceburg, KY, and Syble Fields of Ann Arbor, MI; two grandchildren, Todd and Trevor Balyeat; and two great-grandchildren, Chase and Peyton.
Burial in Post Oak Cemetery at McDougal, AR.

Wendell Berry
Wendell Berry, 67, of Piggott, AR, died Monday, March 25, 2002, at his home.
He was born July 18, 1934, in Mountain View, AR, the son of the late Wiley and Olga Berkley Berry.
He married Lavonne Weece on August 29, 1953. To this union, seven children were born.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Frieta McCullough.
He is survived by his wife, Lavonne; seven children, Timmy Berry and wife, Christi, of Springfield, MO, Arlene Gregory and husband, Roger, of Rector, AR, Marlene Berry of Dexter, MO, Vicki Berry and friend Billy, of Gulfport, MS, Teresa Scharer and husband, Corky, of Britton, MI, Lonnie Berry and wife, Lisa of Prescott, AZ, and Melissa Berry of Marmaduke, AR; 15 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; five brothers, Marvin Berry of Mountain View, Norman Berry of Coolidge, AZ, Charley Berry of Eads, TN, George Berry of Indianapolis, IN, and Benny Berry of TX; two sisters, Betty Russell of Mountian Home, and Jane Lacy of Harrisburg; and other relatives and friends.

Lloyd Edward Besserman
Lloyd Edward Besserman, 32, of Piggott died Saturday, September 20, 2003, at his home in Piggott.
He was born Aug. 31, 1971, in Kennett, MO, the son of Stephen M. and Mildred Dees Besserman.
He was united in marriage to Katie Latimer on October 23, 1999.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Steve Edward and Helen Hatala Besserman; maternal grandfather, Lloyd Dees; and one sister, Lola Besserman.
He is survived by his wife, Katie Besserman of Piggott; his father and mother, Stephen M. and Mildred Besserman of Piggott; his maternal grandmother, Pearl Dees of Piggott; two brothers, Randy and Rodney Besserman, both of Piggott; three sisters, Laura Owens and Lynn Davis of Blain, TN, and Rochelle Bland of McDougal, AR; and other relatives and friends.

Cindy Annette Stockton Beutel
Cindy Annette Beutel, 42, of Greenway died Saturday, June 11, 2005, at her residence.
She was born Aug. 23, 1962, in Wasco, CA, the daughter of Clarence and Joann Williamson Stockton.
She was united in marriage to Dave Beutel on June 8, 1996.
She was preceded in death by her father, Clarence Stockton; her stepfather, Norman R. Salyards; and grandfather, Bernard Williamson.
She is survived by her husband, Dave Beutel; three sons, Steven Crabtree and wife, Holly, of St. Francis, AR, Joshua Crabtree of Little Rock, AR, and Kaleb Beutel of Greenway, AR; two grandsons, Tyler and Wyatt Crabtree; her mother, Joann Hughes and husband, Delbert, of St. Francis; her maternal grandmother, June Williamson; two brothers, Steve Stockton and wife, Ramona, of Pollard, AR, and Michael Salyards of St. Francis; the James Threatt family of Pollard; and many other relatives and friends.

Anita Ward Beveridge
Anita Louise Beveridge, 65, of Crystal Lake, IL, died Thursday, October 12,2000, at Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington, IL.
She was born October 1, 1935, the daughter of the late Charlie and Hazel Ward of Greenway, AR.
She was also preceded in death by a sister, Rita Foster, and a brother, Bill Ward.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas; son Kevin (Dawn) Beveridge of Lake in the Hills; daughter Kimberly (Keith) Wedl of Wauconda; grandchildren, Kendra and Kayla Wedl of Wauconda and Devin and Emily Beveridge of Lake in the Hills; brothers, Charles (Ethellea) Ward of Heber Srpings, AR, Bob Ward of Piggott, and Sam (Mary) Ward of Malden, MO; sisters, Opal Hamilton of Portageville, MO, Dwila Pipkens of Corning, AR, and Viola Jones and Sandra (Larry) Davis of Piggott; several nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.
Burial was by entombment in the Windridge Mausoleum.
