Iva Mae Tracer Boester

Iva Mae Boester, 63, of Rector died Wednesday, March 7, 2007, at her home.

Born May 17, 1943, inSt. Louis to the late Coy Claude Tracer and Maudie L. (Heath) Tracer, she was a cashier at Mr. T's and a member of the Fifth and Pine Church of Christ.

She also was preceded in death by her husband, Charles "Chuck" Boester, in November 1994.

Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, Chuck and Dalana Bolster and EJ. Bol­ster of Paragould; one daughter and son-in-law, Tracey and Shane Holifield of Piggott; one brother, Charlie Tracer of St. Louis, and four grandchildren, Jonathan Michael Vick, Cody Tyler Bolster, Grant Michael Coffell and Makalya Jo Ann Bolster.

Burial was in Cardwell Cemetery, Cardwell, Mo.

Claudean Herring Bolen

 

 Claudean Bolen, 82, of McDougal, AR, died Sunday, April18, 2004, in Hardy, AR.

 She was born November 1, 1921, in Murphysboro, IL, the daughter of the late Arlie Lee and Elvira Elizabeth Jane Coffer Herring.
 
She was united in marriage to Silas Robert Bolen on January 21, 1939.
 
She was a member of the Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in McDougal.
 
She was preceded in death by her husband, Silas Robert Bolen in 1975; three brothers, Joe Her­ring, Wes Herring and Con Her­ring; and one sister, Jane Forbes.
 
She is survived by seven chil­dren, Genendal Kornexl of Chelsa, MI, Howard Bolen of Dexter, MI, Bonnie Read of Hardy, Linda Schmidt of Greenway, AR,  Jim Bolen of Hardy, Rob Bolen of Reyno,  AR, Vonda Nutt of Benton, AR; one sister, Floie Gates of Hernando, MS; four brothers, Ray Herring of Dexter, MI, Gerald Herring of Huntsville, AL, Fred Herring of Corning, AR,  and Ralph Herring of Corning; 17 grandchildren; 28 great-grand­children; four great-great-grand­children and other relatives and friends.
 
Burial  in the. Post Oak Cemetery in McDougal.

Georgia Lee Curry Bolen

 

Georgia Lee Bolen, 77, of " McDougal, AR, died Friday, February 25, 2005, at Piggott Community Hos­pital in Piggott.
 
She was born February 22, 1928, in Crockett, AR, the daughter of the late Millard S. and Minnie Lee Dunston Curry.
 
She was united in marriage to James Russell Bolen on March 20, 1947. He preceded her in death on February 23, 1980.
 
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, M.L. and Tommy; and five sisters, Evelyn, Mae Lee, Thelma, Lela and Ber­tha.
 
She is survived by one son, Jackie Robert Bolen and wife, Sheila; one daughter, Glenda Carol Coomer and husband, Gaylon; seven grandchildren, Dane Coomer and wife, Tonya, Brock Cline and husband, Mike, Michelle Faletti and husband, Tom, Amanda Medley and hus­band, Charles, First Lieutenant J.E.B. Bolen, USMC, and wife, Wendy, Dessie Bolen and Ser­geant Wilhelmina Bolen, U.S. Army; three great-grandchildren, Ian and Rebecca Faletti and Tay­lor Dayne Coomer; two sisters, Myra Luter and Leona Parrish; special family friend, D.C. McElyea; and other relatives and friends.
 
 Burial in Post Oak Cemetery.

Cecilia Watson Bond

Cecilia Watson Bond, 99, of Poplar Bluff, MO, died on July 6, 2003, in Jacksonville, FL.

 

Mrs. Bond was born on February 20, 1904, in Benton County, TN, to George Riley Watson and Mary Jane Smothers Watson.

 

She was united in marriage to Elmer Riley Bond on December 24, 1924. He died on February 17, 1981.

 

She was a member of Landreth Chapel Church in Broseley. Mrs. Bond was a homemaker and en­joyed fishing and hunting.

 

Besides her husband and par­ents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Dale Lamar Bond and Carl Edward Bond; one daughter, Mary Helen Dunlap one brother and two sisters.

 

Survivors include one daughter, Viola Johnson of Jacksonville FL; one sister, Imogene Head of Texarkana, TX; 16 grandchildren 31 great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.

Addie May Cochran Bonham

 

Addie May Cochran Bonham, 93, of Piggott died Friday, August 3, 2001, at the Nursing and Reha­bilitation Center in Walnut Ridge, AR.

 

She was born May 31,1908, in Pollard, AR, the daughter of the late James Arthur and Nancy Ann Higdon Cochran.

 

She married James Burrus Bonham on Feb. 17, 1928, in Piggott. To this union four chil­dren were born - Norma Lee, Jimmie, Patsy and Rex.

 

She was a homemaker and seamstress all her married life. She was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church in Piggott. She was a good mother.

 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Burrus, on December 27, 1987; one daughter, Norma Lee, on July 9, 1939; and one son, Jimmie, on March 23,1999.

 

She is survived by one daugh­ter, Patsy Cate, and husband, Carl,

of Walnut Ridge; one son, Rex Bonham, and wife, Joy, of Batesville, AR; a daughter-in-law, Vir­ginia Bonham, of Moberly, MO; six grandchildren; 16 great-grand­children; and many other relatives and friends.

 

Burial in Piggott Cemetery, Piggott, AR.

Joy Delores Winkle Barcia Bonham

Joy Delores Barcia Bonham, 53, of Batesville died Friday, Feb. 22, 2002, at White River Medical Center in Batesville, AR.

 

She was born Nov. 3, 1948, in Bethesda, AR, the daughter of the late Roy and Ocie Fisher Winkle.

 

She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

 

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Roy Santo Barcia; one son, Dennis Wade Barcia; and one sister, Doris Bercigay.

 

She is survived by her husband, Rex; two sons, Roy Vincent Barcia of Hammond, La., and Charles Robert Barcia of Albany, LA; one daughter, Joy Denise Barcia Adams of Albany; one step-daughter, Vickie Simington of St. Louis; one brother, Teddy Robert Winkle of Springfield, LA; two sisters, Louise Frances Prine of Springfield and Cleta June Winkle of VT; a brother-in-­law and sister-in-law, Carl and Patsy Cate of Walnut Ridge; 11 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and many other rela­tives and friends.

Alma Davis Bowden

 

Alma Davis Bowden, 70, of Sa­lem, OR, died Friday, May 21, 2004, after a long illness.

 

She was born on December 21, 1933, in Pollard, AR, daughter of the late Clyde and Wilma Oxley Davis.

 

She is survived by her husband Robert L. Bowden; one daughter, Barbara Pennington of Denver, CO; one son, Lt. Col. Robert L. Bowden III and wife, Diane; two grandchildren, Lauren and Mychael of Fredericksburg, VA; one step-son, Steve; four step­-grandchildren of Phoenix, AZ; two sisters, Norma Davis McGough of Phoenix and Pat Davis Ludwick of Rancho Santa Margarita, CA; one brother, Ronald A. Davis of Portland, OR; and several nieces and nephews.

Pearl Lorine Ferguson Bowman

 

Pearl Larine Bowman, 80, of Rector, AR,  died Friday January 3, 2003, at St. Bernards Regional Medi­cal Center in Jonesboro.

 

 

 

 She was born May 1, 1922, in Caruthersville, MO, the daugh­ter of the late Thomas Ferguson and Estelle Brotherton Ferguson.
 
She was a homemaker, a mem­ber of Rector United Pentecostal Church and had lived most of her life in the community.
 
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James Bowman; one son who died in infancy, James Thomas Bow­man, Jr.; one brother, Levi Ferguson; and one sister, Violet Smith.
 
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Wayne and Shelby Bowman of Piggott and Jim and Susie Bowman of Greenway; one daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Vernon Dubar of Lake City; three sisters, Sarah Smith of Rector and Mary Ingram and Tommie Daniels of CA; 12 grandchildren, Denise, Lelani, Richard, Jimmy, Greg, Tabatha, Renee, Lauren, Rachel, Seth, Hannah, and Adam; eight great-grandchil­dren, Andrea, Jonathan, Colton, Morgan, Kali, Keifer, Caleb and Reagan.
 
Burial  in Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector, AR
