Carl Amberse Book
Carl Amberse Book, 72, of Mexico, MO, died Tuesday, April 13,2004, in Mexico.
He was born Jan. 2, 1932, in Carryville, AR, the son of the late Floyd Ellis and Ernesteen Wright Book.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
He is survived by three brothers and two sisters.
Burial was in the Mitchell Cemetery , Greenway, AR.

Emma Katherine Chambers Book
Emma Katherine Book, formerly of Piggott, died Sunday, June 4, 2006 in Lake Orion, MI.
She was born September 2, 1922, in Vincennes, IN to the late Fred and Althea Chambers.
She was united in marriage to Amos Book on January 15, 1945. He preceded her in death on January 13, 1990.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one brother Paul Chambers; and one sister, Thelma Cooley.
Survivors include her sons, Richard (Jackie) Book and Robert (Dianne) Book and their daughter, Sherry Book, all from Oxford, MI; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Joan Blair Book
Joan Book, 74, of Piggott died Tuesday, March 21, 006, in the Piggott Community Hospital.
She was born December 31,1931, in Piggott, the daughter of the late Druie Allen and Effie Scarbough Blair.
On Sept. 8, 1951, she married Dennis A. Book. They had two daughters.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis in 1994; one grandson, Zachary Adam Townsend; two brothers, Huston Blair and Elton Blair; and one sister, Betty Gordon.
She is survived by her two daughters, Brenda Einhorn and husband, Harold, of Laurel Springs, NJ, and Denise Lockard and husband, Shane, of Piggott; three grandchildren, Michaela, Autumn and Matthew; one brother, Curtis James Blair of Poplar Bluff, MO; one special nephew, Elton Blair Jr.; three other nephews; one niece; two special friends, Dale and Sharon Pendergrast; and many other relatives and friends.
Burial in Mitchell Cemetery in Greenway.

Phyllis Quarah Kelley Book
Phyllis Quarah Book, 74, of Piggott died Thursday, December 28, 2004, at the Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould, AR.
She was a member of the General Baptist Church and worked for many years as a sales associate for K -Mart.
She was preceded in death by one son, James Byron Book; and her parents, George Monroe Kelley and Lola Pearl Miller.
Survivors include her husband, Jay B. Book of the home; two sons, Phil Stanley Book of Flint, MI, and Alan Wade Book of Piggott; one daughter, Suzanne Zacek of Piggott; two sisters, Violet Odean Haley of Mountain Home, AR, and Esther Yvonna Vannada of Piggott; eight grand-children; and five great-grandchildren.
Burial in Mitchell Cemetery at Greenway.

Raymond Lowell Book
Raymond Lowell Book, 75, of Piggott died Thursday, August 11, 2005, in the St. Bernards Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro, AR.
He was born July 8, 1930, near Carryville, AR, the son of the late Rev. C.R. and Mary McCormick Book.
He was united in marriage to Jean Lee Wright. They had three children. On January 14, 1961, he was united in marriage to June Ella Goodman. They had two children. She preceded him in death in 1975. On July 8,1977, he was united in marriage to Alice Maxine Hutchison Hill.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Adell Hess, Ruth Book and Amie Book; and four brothers, Homer, Dee, Elbert and Amos Book.
He committed his life to Christ and surrendered to the call to the ministry as a teen. He attended Oakland City College in Indiana and served as pastor to churches in Arkansas, Missouri, Indiana and Michigan. He also served as song director in several churches and sang with his family in several gospel quartets. He was a member of the Piggott First United Methodist Church. He worked as a carpenter for more than 14 years. He was also employed in school maintenance in Michigan and worked for the City of Piggott Street Department.
He is survived by his wife, Maxine Book of Piggott; five children, Randy Book and wife, Jeanette, of Pollard, Sandi Book Carden Hall and husband, David, of Youngsville, NC, Stephen Book Carden and wife, Betty, of Navarre, FL, Mark A. Book and wife, Gayla, of Piggott and Michael Book and wife, Theresa, of Piggott; Maxine's children, Lynda Daub and husband, Harry, of Jacksonville, FL, Donna Sutton and husband, Keith, of Little Rock, Steve Hill and wife, Penny, and David Hill, all of Piggott; one brother, Otis Book and wife, Betty, of Piggott; two sisters, Mary Doyle of Poplar Bluff, MO, and Ota Mae Brendle and husband, Huel, of Warren, MI; two sisters-in-law, Virginia Crews of Piggott and Emma Book of Lake Orion, MI; 13 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
Burial in the Mitchell Cemetery in Greenway, AR.
