Earl C. "Ted" Crowson

Earl C. "Ted" Crowson, 85, of Piggott died Thursday, November 11, 2004, at Arkansas Heart Hospital in Little Rock.
 
He was born on November 27,1918, in Greenway, the son of the late C.C. Crowson and Della Davis Crowson.
 
He was married to Lorene Car­penter on April 10, 1937. She pre­ceded him in death on December 13, 1999, after 62 years of marriage. He was married to Kathy Morris on April 7,  2004.
 
In addition to his wife, Lorene, and his parents, he was also pre­ceded in death by two sisters, Annette Crowson Haywood and Lorelle Crowson Whiteside and three brothers, James V. Crowson, L.M. Crowson and E.M. Crowson.
 
He is survived by his wife, Kathy; son, Jimmie D. Crowson and wife, Joan, of Kennett; daughter, Debbie J. Crowson of Piggott; five grandchildren, Carol Gore, Mia Cooper, Deeanne Costephens, Stacey Harris and Amanda Hinze; two step-chil­dren, Kade Brenna and Clint Mor­ris; 17 great-grandchildren and one beloved brother, William C. Crowson of Dyersburg, TN.
 
Burial  at Mitchell Cemetery in Greenway.

 Mirla Sanders Crowson

 Mirla Crowson, 91, of Flint, MI, formerly of Greenway, died Saturday, September 16, 2000, at Genesys Hospice Care Center in Goodrich, MI.

She was born in Greenway, the daughter of the late George and Cynthia Sanders.
 
She was the wife of Leslie "Shorty" Crowson and was em­ployed by the Indiana Masonic Home for 10 years.
 
Private services were held at Evergreen Cemetery in Grand Blanc, MI.

Veda Call Crowson

Veda Call Crowson, 87, of the Calls Chapel Community died Fri­day, November 10, 2000.
 
She was born November 19, 1912, the daughter of the late Lewis C. and Dora Belle Self Call in the Calls Chapel Community.
 
She was a longtime member of the Greenway Church of Christ.
 
She attended the Calls Chapel School near her childhood home and graduated from Piggott High School.
 
She married Ray Crowson on January 7, 1939. They had four chil­dren:  Ronald, Beverly, TeJuana and JoNell - and this year cel­ebrated their 61st anniversary as husband and wife.
 
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Elizabeth Call, Letha Blackwood, Laurene Edwards and one adopted sister, Marie Turner; and her brothers, Charles Call, Jo­seph Call and her special twin brother, Vernon Call.
 
She is survived by her hus­band, Ray; her sisters, Vira Call of Greenway and Stella Coomer of Hollywood, FL; her son, Ronald Crowson of Kilgore, TX; her daughters, Beverly Rice of Westport, NY, and TeJuana Turner and JoNell Sale of Piggott; grandchildren, Nikki Crowson, Tonny Dement, Raymond Rice, Elizabeth Sale, Valerie Turner, Jillian Senter, Rob­ert Rice Jr., Ashley Turner and Trae Sale; great-grandson, Brock Russell; and many neighbors and friends who will cherish her memory and miss her deeply.
 
Burial was in Mitchell Cemetery near Greenway, AR.
