Mary Annie Causey Dees
Mary Annie Dees, 87, of Piggott, AR, died Friday, January 31, 2003, in the Piggott Community Hospital in Piggott.
She was born Feb. 1, 1915, in Pollard, the daughter of the late Warren and Pearlie Keith Causey.
She was united in marriage to Ebert Dees on October 20, 1928. To this union five children were born.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ebert Dees on March 29, 1990; one grandson, Kevin N. Payne; one brother, Doyle Causey; half-sister, Virginia Dees; two step-brothers, Lloyd Dees and Herbert Dees; step-sister, Belle Zora Hight; step-father, Dan Dees.
She is survived by five children, Evelyn Turner and husband, Jack, of Florissant; MO; Louise Crow and husband, Don, of Piggott; Burnies Dees and wife, Wilma, of Marquand, MO; Ethridge Dees and wife, Linda, of St. Louis, MO; Norman Dees and wife, Nancy, of O'Fallon, MO; 12 grandchildren, Linda Immekus and husband, Gary; Charles Payne; Jim Payne; Sharon Fair and husband, Tim; Steve Scott and wife, Hazel; Michelle Moody and husband, Justin; Mark Dees; Sandra Hinton and husband, Doug; Kathy Wallis and husband, Richard; Lisa Berg and husband, Jim; Wesley Dees and wife, Michelle; Amber Moon and husband, Greg; 29 great-grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; brother, Warren Virgil Causey of LA; half-brother, Paul Dees of IL; half-sister, Modeana Fafara of NM; sisters-in-law, Virginia Causey,
Pearl Zelma Dees and Ernestine Dees; and many other relatives and friends.
Burial in Little Flock Cemetery near Piggott.

Zelma Pearl Cullum Dees
Zelma Pearl Dees, 91, of Piggott died Monday, December 26, 2005, at the Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.
She was born September 7, 1914, in Bee Branch, the daughter of the late Benjamin Harrison and Dora Jane Baker Cullum.
She was united in marriage to Lloyd Dees on January 17, 1932. They had eight children.
She was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on November 12, 1983.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd; four daughters, Dora Bell Dees, Wanda Lee Dees, Connie Elizabeth Dees and Dorothy Lee Cribbs; four brothers, Leo, Kermitt, Junior Lee and Hubert Cullum; one sister, Wiladean Cullum; and three grandchildren.
She is survived by four daughters, Doris Erwin of Piggott, Mickie Besserman and husband, Steve, of Piggott, JoAnn Oliver and husband, Steven, of Piggott and Barbara Sutfin and husband, Larry, of Brookland; 21 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; 18 great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Gladys Redman of Perryville, MO; and many other relatives and friends.
Burial in the Piggott Cemetery.

Olen DePew
Olen DePew, 84, of Campbell died Thursday, December 24, 1998, at Piggott Community Hospital in Piggott.
Born June 14, 1914, in Clarkton, MO, he was the son of the late George Washington DePew and Cora Ann McKinney.
On April 27, 1931, in Piggott he married Alpha Pyle.
He was a retired farmer and attended the Church of Christ in Campbell.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Uncle Harve Depew; three brothers; and two sisters.
Survivors include his wife, Alpha DePew of Campbell; five sons, Bill DePew and Wayne DePew, both of Campbell, Carroll DePew of Gatewood, MO, Richard DePew of Ripley, TN, and Coy DePew of Kennett, MO; five daughters, Linda McIntosh and Glenda Becker, both of Campbell, Ann Blessin of Phoenix, AZ, Helen Youngblood of Blue Eye, MO, and Betty McKenzie of Pt. Lookout, MO; 20 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Burial in Elder Cemetery in Campbell.

Guy R. Derby
Guy R. Derby, 76, of Campbell, MO, died Friday, Jan. 17, 2003, at his home in Campbell.
He was born Feb. 20, 1926, in Battle Creek, MI. He married Betty Reed on June 10, 1949, in Piggott.
He was a member of the Odd Fellow's Lodge in Campbell. He was a member of the Campbell General Baptist Church. He was a line and type operator for Gideon/Clarkton News, The Piggott Banner, and Gamble Printing in Kennett.
He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the Navy.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Derby, of Campbell; two nieces, Emma Lee Bass of Campbell and Mary Lou Riddle of Jonesboro; four great-nieces; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Burial in Woodlawn Cemetery in Campbell.
