Doyne Hardin

Doyne Hardin, 82, of Pollard, AR, died Thursday, November 23, 2006, in the General Baptist Nursing Home in Campbell, MO.

He was born December 21, 1923 in  Crockett, AR, the son of the late Robert Henry and Minnie Florence Carpenter Hardin.

He was united in marriage to Roberta Ayers on June 26, 1949.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, two sons, (Ed note...one son was Thomas Robert Hardin, below.) one brother and one sister.

He is survived by his wife, Roberta Hardin, of Pollard; three sons, James Cooper of Lebanon Junction, KY, Michael Hardin of Pollard, and Danny Lee Hardin of Lexington, KY; six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Burial in Mars Hill Cemetery, Crockett, AR.

George C. Hardin

George C. Hardin, 74 of Marmaduke, AR, died Saturday, April 21, 2001, in Little Rock, AR.

He was born October 5, 1926, in Boydsville, AR to the late Ben Thomas and Pearl Taylor Hardin.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Veneda (Bradsher) Hardin, on July 7, 1995.

Mr. Hardin was owner and operator of the Marmaduke Lumber Company, a Methodist and a Mason.

Survivors include his wife, Wanda Gatewood Hardin, of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law, Ted and Janet Hardin of Jonesboro, AR and Steve and Jackie Harding of Corning, AR, a daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and John Goodpasture of Maumelle, AR; seven grandchildren, Eric, Samatha, Ben Jennifer, Brittany, Amy and Tyler; one great-grandson, Patrick; two brothers, Donald Hardin of St. Louis, MO and his twin brother Leslie Hardin of Boydsville; five step-children, Terry and Sondra Gatewood of Clayton, NC, Larry and Brenda Gatewood of Kennett, MO, Micahel Gatewood of Batesville, AR, Deanna and Randy Dover of Piggott and Tricia and Mark Hedrick of Cabot, AR; 11 step-grandchildren, Chris, Heather, Ashley, Jeff, Eric, Tyler, Morgan, Christine, Dillon, Hillary, and Zack; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Burial in Ramer's Chapel Cemetery.

Lily Marcella Hardin

Lily Marcella Hardin, 88, of Qulin, died Friday, May 13, 2005, at her residence.

Mrs. Hardin was born November 8, 1916 in Piggott.  She was a homemaker and a member of the Qulin Church of Christ.

On December 1, 1937, she married Charles J. Hardin in Detroit, MI. He preceded her in death on April 21, 1968.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by five sisters, Lockie Garner, Roxie Thompson, Naoma Bare, Elacy Wright and Lubie Adams.

She is survived by three sons, Charles Darnel Hardin, Daryl Hardin, both of Qulin, and Dwight Hardin of St. Louis; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one sister, Ava Wright of Cape Girardeau, MO.

Burial in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Poplar Bluff, MO.

Thomas Robert Hardin

Thomas Robert Hardin, 39, of Pollard, died Monday, August 4, 2003.

He was born May 4, 1964, in St. Louis, the son of Doyne and Roberta Ayres Hardin.

He was preceded in death by one sister and one brother.

He is survived by both of this parents, Doyne and Roberta Hardin of Pollard; three brothers, James Cooper of Lebanon Junction, KY, Michael Hardin of Pollard, and Danny Lee Hardin of Lexington, KY; one son, Kyle Hardin of Piggott; Kyle's mother, Melinda Graves of Piggott; her children Brad and Sara Graves of Piggott; and other relatives and friends. 

Burial in Mars Hill Cemetery, Crockett, AR.
