Ella Maxine Bomar Huffman
Ella Maxine Bomar Huffman, 79, of Piggott, died Wednesday, July 10, 2002, at the Piggott Nursing Center.
She was the daughter of Enloe Donaldson and Milie Ethel (Hatley) Bomar.
She was the owner of Maxine's Restaurant, a seamstress, and a member of the Church of Christ.
She is survived by her husband, Howard, of Campbell, MO; two daughters, Wanda Morris and husband James, of Piggott, and Brenda Harper and husband, Allen of Russellville, AR; two sisters, Peggy Hatley of Memphis, TN and Roberta Erwin of Flint; one brother, Gene Bomar, of Piggott; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and a host of other friends and relatives.
Burial in the Piggott Cemetery, Piggott, AR.
Howard Eugene Huffman
Howard Eugene Huffman, 79, of the General Baptist Nursing Home at Campbell, MO, and formerly of Piggott, died on Thursday, December 28, 2006, at the Piggott Community Hospital after a long illness.
He was born in Greenway, AR on March 28, 1927 to the late Clarence Matthew and Erma (Bell) Huffman.
He was a carpenter by occupation and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include two daughters, two daughters, Wanda Morris and husband James, of Piggott, and Brenda Harper and husband, Allen of Russellville, AR; three sisters, Dortha Mae McMillon of Frisbee, MO, Ruby Helen Huffman of Greenway, and Erma Jean Eubanks of Kennett, MO; grandchildren, great grandchildren, thirteen nieces and nephews that loved him very much and many other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Howard Dewayne Huffman; three brothers, Harold Huffman, Roy Huffman and Marion Huffman; and one sister, Mimia Downham.
Burial in Mitchell Cemetery, near Greenway, AR.
Roy Rudolph Huffman
Roy Rudolph Huffman, 84, of Piggott, died Friday, January 6, 2006, at the Westwood Hills Nursing Center, in Poplar Bluff, MO.
He was born September 14, 1921 in Greenway, AR, the son of Clarence Mack and Erma (Bell) Huffman.
He served his country during WWII and was honorably discharged with the rank of Staff Sergeant.
He was united in marriage to Jean (Kendrick) Huffman on August 10, 1939. She preceded him in death on October 13, 1989.
Two brothers, Harold and Marion; and one sister, Mimia Downham, also preceded himin death.
He is survived by two daughters, Jerri Mann and husband, Billy, of Piggott and Judy Moore of Doniphan, MO; two sons, Clarence Huffman, and wife, Jane, of Rector, AR and Tim Huffman and wife Jeanne, of Poplar Bluff; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; one brother, Howard of Campbell; three sisters, Dortha McMillion and husband, Joe of Holcomb, MO, Ruby Huffman of Greenway, AR and Erma Jean Eubanks of Kennett, MO; and many other relatives and friends.
Burial in Mitchell Cemetery, near Greenway, AR.
